Since Saturday afternoon, it’s been under 50°F and rained off and on.

Just dreary with dark clouds. Still is.

Hell, I called me Mommy on Mother’s Day and she had the blues even though she lives on the east coast and it was warm and sunny there!

Liverpool looses the title by one point, Hamilton cake walks Spanish GP because Bottas had a slightly bad clutch and Ferrari has their heads up their asses AGAIN.

At least the basketball Game 7's we’re entertaining.

No shame in crying, Joel. It just shows your heart is in the right place.

Let's just try to make it through this day.

i think mother nature is throwing a CEL.  They were saying on the radio this morning that some places around Boston could get snow.  That is completely F’ed up.

Re: the weather, that’s what it’s like here in Cumbria, England 300+ days a year.

But presently a warm 17 degrees C, and peak at a hot 21 degrees C on Wednesday.

Yeah...I had a shite weekend, too. I screwed up the second date on Friday. The second I got into my car to head home that night I kinda knew that I wouldn’t be dating her again. And that was crushing because I super liked her . Got the confirmation of my suspicions this morning.

On Saturday I went to a funeral for a practical stranger. I kno w their family well, but not them. After the funeral was a party. During the party my brain decided “hey, it’s been a long while since you’ve been extremely depressed, how about we enjoy some old times?”

And that’s been my mental state since then. I'm trying to be the rosy shades person I normally am but I'm fighting stupid irrational thoughts. This week is probably going to be a self-care week if I can manage it.

That sounds nice. I guess with the weather normally gloomy 300 days a year, it's probably comfortable enough for the natives to wear shorts, like in San Francisco, huh?

Internet hugs for Miss Mercedes! While there are other fish in sea known as the greater Chicagoland area, I think you should send her  a text or call and just apologize.  Maybe she might give you one chancebut at the very least, you will show her that you care enough to let her know.

*Hugs*! I already went through all that. So far as I can tell, my problem was being too scared to even hold her hand, let alone start running the bases. She’s the first person of her type that I’ve dated in several years (as in, before transition several years) so I was more nervous than I think I’ve ever been on a date.

I'm sure as I get back into the swing of dating I'll get my confidence back. But for now, blegh.

Bummer. Welp, there's a pint of ice cream with your name on it.  I did that a couple weeks ago but for a different reason: my high blood pressure meds weren't working and I was upset. To my surprise, doubling the dosage the next day did the trick.

Nah, not really gloomy, it’s what makes Cumbria scenery so amazing, all the different hues of greens, brown, greys and blues.

We start wearing shorts at about 10 degrees C, if we aren't already (I'm almost always in my shorts, even when it's -2 degrees C.
